The Rent is too Damn High

I hate it when candidates with a true passion for a cause are usually minimized by the press as a “fringe” candidate.  I suppose that he will not have the support like a Democrat or Republican, but at what point to we actually try to give other candidates their fair shake.  Jimmy MCmillan may have a slightly awkward beard but he has a valid point about rent being too high.  Which isn’t so much about bringing rents down, but that wages in this country have been stagnant for decades.  More and more people are below the poverty level and the middle class is seeing their real world purchasing power evaporate as their incomes don’t keep up with inflation.  Of course, that wouldn’t make as good a name as “The Rent is too Damn High Party”.  Kind of catchy.
